Canoeing Family Day

This course is for anyone who would like a practical introduction to open canoeing and is ideal for anyone wishing to involve the entire family in an active, skillful pursuit. No previous experience is required but a basic level of fitness would be an advantage.

The Rivers Chelmer and Stort are a short drive from our centres, and provide the perfect setting in which to introduce novices to this wonderful sport. The first day is spent developing the techniques needed to paddle the canoe, whilst the second day will be spent journeying through beautiful Essex countryside.
