Furthermore, the activities undertaken on such a course are usually outside of the usual experiences of the participants and therefore gives participants a level playing field and enables them to show skills and strengths that could go unnoticed in the normal working environment. As a result, practical activities and exercises are excellent tools to help participants truly understand both themselves and others within their team.

The program

Whether you want to bond new team members, stretch a group of budding managers, or provide an exciting yet demanding selection process for prospective candidates, a tailor made Team Building or Development Week can be tailored to meet the needs of your business.

Many of our tried and tested programmes follow a simple pattern, commencing with simple problem solving exercises and the acquisition of basic technical skills in the various modes of transport required later in the course, including canoeing, abseiling and mountain biking. The tasks increase in complexity, culminating in a grande finale: A situation that appears at first to be an unknown task with an unknown solution. Only by working together and systematically filtering the information at their disposal will a team discover the problem and begin to work towards a solution.

In short, we aim to nurture and stretch individuals in your company, whilst providing an environment in which relationships can be built, trust developed and an individuals and teams potential realized. All of which should lead too increased productivity back in the work place.
