Introduction to the Expedition

If you are new to the DofE in Essex, this course will provide you with an introduction to the expedition section of DofE, and help you understand the key steps for completing an expedition.

Expedition Tutor Training

This course will provide Essex DofE leaders with all the practical skills they need to successfully prepare their group for completion of the expedition section of DofE.

Expedition Supervisor Training - Bronze/Silver

For Bronze and Silver Expedition Supervisors to fully understand their role and responsibilities within the DofE framework, and provide them with the skills necessary to ensure a high quality experience for their young people.

Expedition Supervisor Training - Gold

This two-day residential course will provide Expedition Supervisors with all the knowledge they need to supervise Gold Expeditions in remote or wild settings. Accommodation and meals are included.

Assessor Accreditation Scheme

For expedition assessors who want a clear understanding of their role as a DofE Expedition Assessor; the 'Seven Steps' to assessment; and the recent changes to to the DofE conditions and requirements.
