Mersea Island Festival

These two camps started as a youth project in 1981, the Year of the Disabled and have been an annual event at Mersea ever since. It's aim remains to provide an opportunity for disabled and non-disabled young people to come together in friendship and share a fun camping experience with a wide variety of exciting and challenging activities.

The camps are ideal for Inclusive clubs, Phab and Gateway clubs, Youth Groups and families with disabled young people. They provide an opportunity to try out new activities, make new friends and have loads of fun!!!

Over 300 people come from all over the UK either to the 5 day camp, the 3 day camp, or both!
