Personal Development Programmes

These programmes are aimed at young people currently involved in projects such as ISS, PAYP, PRU and YOT, and will help social development and learning in a practical environment away from the classroom.

Each programme is tailored to meet the aims and outcomes of the group, and provide the opportunity to fulfil various curriculum requirements and address a number of the 5 headings within the Every Child Matters framework such as Be Healthy, Stay Safe and Make a Positive Contribution. Participants also have the opportunity to gain recorded outcomes and accreditation through the AQA unit award scheme and Essex Youth Awards. Programmes can take place as a residential visit or as individual sessions on a week by week basis.
